For the Venture Tec rack, mount these on uprights or on top of the cross bars. It is an aluminum die-cast construction that is powder-coated matte black to match the rack system. It will also hold up to any weather without worrying about rust. Being a stationary handle that does not fold, it will be nice and sturdy without worries of a hinge breaking.
